Vernon School District has five secondary schools enrolling grade 8 to 12 students. All schools offer similar academic and elective British Columbia curricular programs which lead to post secondary education opportunities. All schools offer a full complement of Athletic and Fine Arts programs including: Volleyball, Football, Basketball, Swimming, Soccer, Rugby, Band and Drama.

WL Seaton SecondaryW.L. Seaton Secondary School is a dual-track school offering both English language programming and the city’s only secondary French Immersion program. Seaton has a strong Arts and Culture program evidenced by its award winning Concert and Jazz bands, as well as Choir, Drama, Musical Theatre, and Visual Arts programs. Seaton is one of the most diverse schools in the district making it a welcoming environment for international students.

Charles Bloom Secondary

Charles Bloom Secondary School is situated in the rural community of Lumby, the Gateway to the Monashee Mountains. The school is located in the center of the Village and has close proximity to community facilities such as the park, swimming pool, curling rink, skating rink, regional library and Skateboard Park. We are especially proud of our school culture.  Students and staff alike believe in mutual respect and promoting a positive atmosphere in which all learners can do their best.

Vernon Secondary School

Vernon Secondary is one of Vernon’s most comprehensive schools offering courses and opportunities across all disciplines and areas. VSS has a proud tradition of achievement in athletics, fine arts, and academics. In January 2013 VSS proudly opened the doors to a beautiful new building with state of the art technology in every room.

Clarence Fulton Secondary School

Clarence Fulton Secondary offers a wide range of academic courses, interesting electives and some dual credit college courses. This school has outstanding athletics programs and warmly welcomes International Students and values the diversity they add to the school.

Kalamalka Secondary School

Kalamalka Secondary School offers a strong academic, athletic and extra-curricular program involving students from all grades. KAL prides itself on maintaining high expectations of its students in their academic pursuits. Students can enjoy a variety of athletics, clubs, arts and interesting electives such as musical theatre, woodworking and band.
